Givenchy Dahlia Divin Eau Initiale

When a fragrance embodies a golden elixir of pure sensuality, it gets my goddess attention. Givenchy Dahlia Divin Eau Initiale is the newest Dahlia fragrance and it does not disappoint.

Floral fragrances are what my senses live for. The older I get, (26 this week!) I find myself reaching for fragrances that are not just floral but also sensual. Dahlia Divin is described as a fragrance for a modern goddess who shines like the sun and captivates with presence. I like to imagine myself to be this goddess and that makes Dahlia Divin my new go to fragrance.

With citrus top notes, floral heart notes and woodsy base notes, Dahlia Divin comes together as the perfect sensual floral that is elevated for the modern woman.

Top Notes: bergamont, blood orange

Heart Notes: magnolia, jasmine, rose, lotus

Base Notes: musk, sandalwood

When first sprayed, Dahlia Divin hits with a light, crisp bergamont scent that quickly becomes very floral. Magnolia is the star note of the fragrance and it really shines at the heart. The floral combination of magnolia, jasmine and rose is so lovely that I would love to have bouquets all over my apartment. As Dahlia Divin starts to dry down, sandalwood and musk begin to transform this floral fragrance to a new level of sensual sophistication.

Givenchy Dahlia Divin is housed in a bottle that is white, gold and beautiful. It looks expensive, it is expensive and you will feel expensive wearing it. For me, it is a beautiful scent for both day and night that will leave a mark wherever your summer takes you.

Givenchy started the Dahlia collection in 2014 with the inspiration being the birth of a goddess. Givenchy Dahlia Divin Eau Intiale reflects the growth and eternal sunshine of the goddess in all of us. It is definitely worth a test next time you’re at the fragrance counter.
